About Hank

You call Hank. Hank does the work.

Wrenrock is one licensed landscape contractor with his own machines, based in Phelan. No sales team and no crew you have never met.

A compact tractor with a loader and a mini-skid with a trencher, parked by piles of cobble and gravel

How a job goes

Every Wrenrock yard starts as a sketch on graph paper.

The finished yard: a redwood footbridge over a river cobble dry creek, boulders and a curbed lawn
Sketched first, then built
  1. 1

    He walks the yard

Tape measure out, notes on where the water runs, where the wind comes from and where you sit in the evening.

  2. 2

He sketches it on graph paper

Beds, boulders, curb lines and the creek, drawn to scale by hand. You flip through albums of past jobs and point at what you like.

  3. 3

    You change what you want

Move a boulder, widen a path. He redraws it on the spot before a single rock goes in.

  4. 4

    He builds it himself

On site at seven, gone when the day’s work is done. Timers and drip get set up and explained before he leaves.
